Which is dominant, and do the results correlate with your handedness?
i'm both right-eyed and right-handed
left-eyed, right-handed confuseddood;
I don't get how this works. Isn't it just how you position your hands?
It's similar to when firing a gun. If you are holding it in the left hand you want to line it up with your right eye closed. With the right hand you want it with your left eye closed.

yes, you can change which eye is "dominant" by moving your head around lol
i get cross-eyed when i focus on something right in front of me ;_;
I'm left eyed and (mostly) left-handed
I didn't clack the link but another test for this is to hold your finger in front of your face and close each eye, whichever eye keeps the finger in place is the dominant eye.
i am left-handed and right-eyed

i am left-handed and right-eyed
This also seems to depend on hand position. Neither eye seems to move the hand if it's close to the center of my face
If i shift it left or right and try it then the eye that moves the hand changes.
unless i'm weird and they are equi-dominant.
the doctors ruined my left eye and i write with my right hand . so ya
I have significantly more trouble closing just my left eye than my right eye, but I did the test and I'm right-eyed.
I'm left-handed.
lol i just realized neither eye is more dominant than the other because i can still see the knob when i close either eye

i think they probably are considering your ambidexterity(?all coons are ambidextrous(?)). when I do the finger thing, with a pretty wide range of different positions in front of my face, closing one eye always 'fills it in' and the other makes it 'shift'.

*tries to find a good click-clack commercial on youtube but fails*
that finger thing is also a bad test because i get crossed eye focusing on something (that is i simultaneously see both the left and right eyed views)
also i am really good at archery irl, or at least use to be
i shoot guns

that's the point, you close each eye one at a time to see which one unfocuses the least
i was good at shooting guns, but not good with shot guns. i think i was too intimidated by the Shot Gun. haven't done shooting Things in awhile and don't really wanna lol

I think my glasses are slightly stronger in the right eye than the left (something like 3.75/4.00, I think), which may or may not be relevant confuseddood;

shooting guns is Fucking Fun. when I went bird hunting once I shot 4 flyin birds real quick and then a dog literally knocked me down and ran me over

wat.
I already knew this from when I went shooting... I suck because I am right handed but left-eye dominant. Using my right eye to aim was weird

apparently the recessive eye should have a slightly weaker lens or one's vision could deteriorate more rapidly
usually opticians do the exact opposite and prescribe the weaker eye a stronger lens so vision is identical for both, as in my case, which sounds ideal but leads to worsening vision myface;

I think it works best if you get the hang of it then open both eyes, you have to aim more 'in your head' than with with your eyes a little bit though (like shootin claypdigeons) . but I am right eyed and shot right-handed (as if you could shot any other way)so maybe i don't know

my daddy made me do it :'(
also this is odd, most people (70%) have the same eyedness as handedness lol

lol :( should have shot the Parents (like all kids should)
I already know from when I did archery that I'm right-eye dominant.

wat.
the light from a light source such as the sun gets reflected by the finger into my eye which then gets refracted in a rather strange way from abnormalities in the cornea and lens
