Last night at work I managed to cut myself in the stupidest way possible. I'll spare you the details.
The point is, there is a very deep cut on the tip of my finger. Last night it was bleeding profusely but I managed to restrain it with a bandaid and several strips of waterproof tape. I slept with the bandage on to make sure it would heal. I take the bandage off this morning and it immediately starts bleeding again. At this point, I've managed to make it stop bleeding a few times just by keeping a bandage on it, but as soon as the bandage comes off, it doesn't take much to provoke it into bleeding again. It doesn't bleed as heavily as it did last night, but it's still blood.
What's the next course of action, Dr. Boyah?
We need to amputate your finger. tomatoes;

I don't think you'll need stitches or anything, but I would keep a bandaid on it and put some neosporin on it.
There's only room for like two stitches.
Some surgical glue would be nice though.
You probably should just see a real doctor if you have insurance/can afford it.
Especially since with an open wound like that you wouldn't be able to work especially in a food place
Take some pain killers and walk it off
On a related medical boyah note, my nose suddenly has something like a bloody scab in it and my septum hurts when touched. Blood comes out when I blow my nose. Is this like a sinus infection or something?
Use some of that gel that forms artificial clots and helps wounds heal. Slather it on then wrap everything up tight with a bandage and leave it for a day or two.

Fuck damn, the same thing is happening to me right now.
I've been just trying to leave it alone until it heals itself.

I tried this for about 4 days and then it would just get nasty and I couldn't breathe out of that nostril, so I cleared it and reset the score to 0. Fuck I hope this is something they can do something about.
have you tried putting a band Aid in your nose?? jking i don't think that is possible
ok so I just quit doing coke for about 2 and 1/2 years because there's a big hole in my septum. how long til it grows back???

It's too late for stitches. If more than a certain time passes they won't stitch it shut. Just keep it clean and dry.

The blood vessels in your nose are close to the surface. in the winter they can rupture and bleed because the air is drier inside. Or so doctor Josefina says.

That tissue will not regenerate. I believe surgical grafts and procedures are necessary for it to become whole again. I am worried that my use may have cause some damage, but it was only a few months of activity so who knows.
