Is anyone else watching this spectacular special on the History channel tonight? So much wonderful knowledge is being presented. Who knew that Magellan ate rat droppings and was torn to bits? Or that flint stones were better razors than your 29.88 dollar fiat currency Gillet Mach doped.
I wouldn't necessarily believe everything you hear on History Channel

Yeah, but it can at least be interesting faux history
plus it is better than those damn alien shows

It's a doorway into another world, I still decide on how to interpret that reality.

marginally
it's better than this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Chronology_(Fomenko)
which I wouldn't be surprised to see adapted to a History series
I hate those damn reality series they have started showing with the truckers and the loggers and the scrimping people and those fat pawn shop people and such. This once bastion of content over rating has sold out like the rest of the clear channel ilk.
but we have wikipedia now, so fuck it
i like when history channel did a documentary on the odyssey there was a lot of cool things then my dad told me to shut it off because he thought i was worshipping Evil. then i bought the odyssey in a church a month later :)
so thank U history channel for spurring my interest into Mythology

Oh my God you would LOVE History's Mysteries, it was probably my favorite program ever.
It's not the same as Wikipedia, which is more a reference point rather than an entertainment event.

The Magellan thing is pretty well known though, those natives fucked his shit up hocuspocus;

History's Mysteries is a really good show!
I always used to watch it with my Grandfather when it came on
the history channel at least had the decency to reject that awful docudrama about the kennedys
