Title: Something
Post by: Socks on November 12, 2011, 10:30:13 PM
I was standing outside barefoot and smoked a huge blunt. But everywhere all one could see was this silver light. I didn't know it was a full moon out. It's at the very top of the sky where you have to crane your neck to see it sitting there, perfectly aloft, and bright. If the heavens were an ambrella and opened up the folds, the very point and tip would be the moon, the stars holes within the fabric, blazing to another world beyond, and the shaft is you and all your effort. But it wasn't raining, it was very cool infact. I love it when your cheeks are warm and caressed by the wind and chill. It feels like natural peppermint, but of course much more than this. And I wonder where you are tonight? Can you see the moon and peer beyond? Or do clouds obscure your vision? I always thought it was incredible that two people who couldn't see each other, could look at the moon together, at the same time.

I saw Jupiter and all its moons outside tonight, with only a pair of binoculars.

I saw the cloud bands and the red spot through my cannon!
