I've been so distracted by Harvest Moon 3D...I let my quota slop below 50%...
And now I'm going to play it some more...bye. :'(

Harvest moon?
I played this on the Gamecube and I spend my entire time hitting on girls. Then I got bored after an hour.

I played the one on the gcn, and was hitting on the red head but she did not like me and I didn't get married in time
akudood;
harvest moon is a series that i've actually played a considerable amount in the past, but they no longer hold my attention at all honestly. i've grown quite bored of that sort of game. i put in a lot of time on the original snes harvest moon back when i first started emulating as a young teen, and harvest moon 64 as well later on. but now? eh.
harvest moon on gameboy advance was one of those games I put infinite hours into unlocking every goddamn crevice of, for some reason. I remember it being ridiculously easy to manipulate horse race betting in HM games

Harvest Moon 64 has a glitch where you can bet as much as you want without spending any money. You basically just select your bet and then press "b" to cancel out of the menu. For some reason the bets remain even though you didn't actually buy them.
I'm still somewhat interested in the Harvest Moon games, but Tree of Tranquility is the most recent one I've played. It's great but I haven't gotten around to getting all that far in it yet.
I haven't been playing games in general much lately >_<'
Animal Parade is better.
I like 64 best and the most recent one I have is Magical Melody which is also pretty good but I never got into it really, maybe I should try it again
I liked the characters and everything on A Wonderful Life but the bugs absolutely ruin the game for me
I don't know why everyone liked AWL...like SNES HM, I didn't like it at all.

The original and Gamecube A Wonderful Life runs perfectly fine as far as I've noticed when playing it to death. But the female version is very buggy and I've heard the PS2 version is worse

I have the original gamecube version. it doesn't lag or crash or anything like that, but it pull stupid shit like
never giving me a horse or having items just disappear, stuff like that

Items disappear from where? Certain storage things can be stolen from by the homeless guy
AWL has the most potential since it's the most realistic harvest moon. But it doesn't hold my interest long enough for me to accomplish anything significant.
Then again, I haven't enjoyed a Harvest Moon game in years.

Not from storage bins specifically, other places too. I don't really remember, it's been a while. I remember some characters just fucking up randomly too, like disappearing or going through walls or some shit. Something made it so I could never get a blue feather I think too. Oh and for non-glitches, pushing cows around was just awful.
I liked the game for a good while, but it's just too broken, I couldn't deal with it any longer.

why would you ever want realism in a harvest moon game baddood;

Good question.
I guess having your kid grow up and become a self-sufficient adult is a cool concept.

Oh no I loved that aspect of it, but as for everything else really, I like the style of 64 best.

Me too.
Which is why I thought I would like Magical Melody... Turns out I didn't really enjoy that game either.

I really enjoyed it but I got stuck pretty early and gave up entirely

I think Tree of Tranquility does the same thing, but extends it further: you can play as your child eventually.
Also hybrid crops in AWL were great baddood;
