I figure there are two types of kids, those who save some of their Halloween/Christmas candy for months and eat it throughout the year, and those who binge and have none left after a few days. Which were you?
I always saved my candy in a stash under my bed, for times when the going got rough. Not like I didn't eat any of it when I got it, but I probably saved more than half every holiday.
want candy now gimme gimme
old candy is gross
Like many other items, some kinds of candy are less appealing after time passes
and I prefer not to get ants everywhere all year
So I always eat it within a couple weeks
I always save it until it's bad. I probably still have candy from christmas 95
People 16 years of age or older here are banned from trick or treating.
I usually saved it
At this point in my life I just eat the candy my mom buys for trick-or-treaters before Halloween.

I haven't been trick or treating in 3 or 4 years, but I always used to save probably 3/4th of it in a sealed bag in a drawer in my closet. Then like once every 6 weeks or so I would discover that it was there and eat a few pieces. That way it always lasted the whole year.
I always ate all my easter candy within the week though, because it was a much smaller amount.
i usually ate my candy pretty fast
i still do, actually. not that i go trick-or-treating, but i always get a share of the candy that my mom just buys for the family (and to a lesser degree, for the few trick-or-treaters we get)
...you guys aren't going trick-or-treating this year?
More savers than gobblers on Boyah, I wouldn't have guessed befuddlement
Is it really that surprising that people as old as we are wouldn't normally go trick-or-treating?
I kinda quit doing that at like age 15.

dude I'm fucking 20
Well it depends really. Usually I'd eat a pretty good amount every day, but usually enough to last me for around a week or 2. At the same time, I only got a moderate amount of candy. My step brother lived in a nicer neighborhood and being in a big city he could go around to more places, so he always ended up with a metric shitton of candy. He would eat a lot of candy every day and still have enough for like 2 months.
I wouldn't want my candy to last longer than a couple months though, because some of it gets stale after a while.

I haven't been trick-or-treating since I was 13, and even then it was only for line 15 minutes and I got bored and felt uncomfortable knocking on peoples doors because I was all alone and I only did it so I could see a girl I liked for a second, I made my costume the day of but it turned out pretty good (I was batman). So really 12 was my last time.
But I like easter candy a lot mmmm
Oh I haven't actually been trick or treating since I was like 15... My parents usually send me a lunch bag with some candy in it though...
Which I primarily use to chase liquor with, the new meaning of the season hocuspocus;

I dunno, I always want to be able to have candy when I actually crave it. So I usually put off eating it and then forget about it. I'm like a squirrel with nuts girl;
I ate all the good candy fast and the rest lasted until January or so. Now I just buy big bags of assorted candy and eat that.
I don't think I could ever eat that much candy in a few days. I definitely kept it but... But I've always lived with my brothers who like candy more than me so I think candy just goes fast.
i saved them until i forgot about them
