i pretty much stopped using any sort of bag for school after my first semester of my freshman year at college. it's usually just pointless when i only have like one textbook and a notebook to carry to one class anyway.
i've never not used one :'(
I use my messenger bag so my laptop can travel safely along with anything else I carry along that day. Mostly random books and papers
Backpacks4lyfe
i use a suitcase
IT'S PRETTY
i fill it with sqeeky toys and snacks and a rotting notebook and a small comic
I use some laptop bag to carry my laptop and charger, one or two books that I'll need for the day.
I usually just carry my moleskine notebook and a legal pad out of the bag
Legal Pads are the best way to take notes in lecture classes baddood;
I use a backpack and I have one composition book in it and one notebook and sometimes a book and some pens and a few pencils and one highliter and that's what's u.p
Backpack. I have 3-4 classes a day within a small time frame and my campus is rather large.
I use a laptop case/messenger bag since I can bring laptop around and also writing things
I usually use a backpack
Even if I only am going to one class, I tend to stop for either breakfast or lunch on the way there and it's nice to have free hands for a plate and cup. Even when I don't use more than a single folder in most of my classes.
In the rare case that I have something to use a laptop for, I can shove it in my backpack too. None of my current classes are remotely note-heavy; the most note-taking I've done in one class period so far was less than half a page with generous spacing in Discrete Mathematics, so it's not worth the trouble to bring a laptop to type
When I lived off campus, I hardly used one. You don't really need one if you're not traveling far.
When I moved off, my roommates bought me a backpack and I've never looked back. giggle;
I use this cool red corduroy backpack for literally everything and I bring it everywhere. it is like my purse. I traded a burnt disc of wu tang songs for it.
I use a really cool 1980's boyscout backpack I got out of my uncles attic that I've hand sewn patches of places I've been to on. I use it for school and any other time I need a backpack, not to small, not to big.
I didn't use one at all last year, but I use a backpack now that I live off campus.
It has a permanent collection of items, consisting two books, an iclicker, a phone charger, two notebooks, a flashlight, headlamp, two pairs of gloves, a small saw, a knife, some wood glue, a scale, a tape measure, some pencils, some rubber cement, and an adjustable triangle. Oftentimes I keep a light hoodie in there too.
no
I don't know if I want to live in a world where messenger bags are hip
I've only seen three people use messenger bags in all of my public schooling days.
Two were gay and the other was a girl n_u
I'm pretty sure at my high school anyone with a messenger bag got beaten up in the locker room after gym class although maybe I am just making that up n_u

I like timbuk2 stuff, I almost bought one of these last week:

But I already have one of these:

It has good pockets for everything and it's pretty nice quality and it's very comfortable. The picture makes it look purple but it's definitely silver/grey.

I'd disagree
plus 160 isn't all that much for a bag that will last me basically forever.
I'm on two years of almost daily use and it looks brand new.

but it's so huge and bulky. my friend has one of those and every time i see him wear it with everything in it i'm like myface;
It's actually better for your back to disperse the weight evenly hocuspocus;

I get the argument you're making, but $160 is still expensive. I just think for that price I could find something even better. $100 for the one I want seems more reasonable, but I do wish it had a couple extra pockets.
I like messenger bags, but I prefer backpacks because they don't move around when you're running or biking and they distribute the weight more evenly instead of putting it all on one shoulder.
So yeah I wonder if I should get that bag lol
this is a lot of talk about bags
buncha girls
nyerp has the most fashionable bags
bags of sand
bags of milk
