Title: taking walks
Post by: snoorkel on September 14, 2011, 05:23:09 PM
do you like taking walks? how often do you?

I like taking walks at night, and on the beach early in the morning before anyone's there

I don't take them often, but I really enjoy them when I do. I guess I just don't think about doing it very often.

occasionally in the park or on a trail. walking around the city is now done in the form of a car.

I enjoy them a lot but I am not in a good location to go for walks at night or anywhere really. There are no sidewalks for a few miles and people speed on the road like mad and it is pretty used...

I somehow go into town just to walk around

I walk a lot. I walk along the lake to downtown, or around downtown and out to peninsulas and stuff. On the average day I walk about 4 miles just in life, and when I go on walks, they are typically 5-8 miles. I probably go on long walks 4 times a week or more. Also we tend to go on long walks when exploring/scouting.

I go on really short walks around midnight almost every day just to see the neighborhood at night.  I think it's incredibly beautiful when the lights go out.

I'll go on walks sometimes.

I like driving around my city at night more though.
Something about that is just so relaxing

Walks are amazing. I feel so much better after them. Out at night is ideal, or hiking during a not so hot day is pretty nice too. Basically any sort of walking which doesn't involve traffic is loverly n_n

It's part of what made my European trip so enjoyable

I love going on walks. Phoenix is so hot it isn't that fun to go on walks. Normally I walk to a park because normally I am at a house. In Phoenix, if you live somewhere, you're generally like 5 minutes from a park. Walk walk walk at night when it's nice.

I need to take walks regularly (at least twice a week). They are my time to be with myself and I get most of my thinking and reflection done on them.

When I'm home from college I'll drive to the Appalachian trail and walk on that, or just walk random trails around my town.
