Title: financial aid
Post by: snoorkel on August 20, 2011, 03:46:59 PM
I just spent 2 hours filling out loan disclosures, promissory notes, and agreements in various other forms. I don't really know what they said since I just answered 'all of the above' or 'true' for every question on the verify-you-read-this-shit pages (good job making quiz government), but I saw my one $2,000 loan has a fixed 1% interest rate through 2019 (by which time we'll all be dead) so that's nice  n_n

I've managed to accrue a total of $22,600 in financial aid (only about 10% of it loans), leaving me with about $14,000 to come up with between now and next summer. smithicide;

I'm starting to think I should have gone that route, not sure why I didn't.

I get $13,400 in grants every year. Last year I got an additional $1,500 that I didn't get this year because I'm not on campus.

It worked out fairly well for me in terms of price and getting out of a social rut. I still hate CC but it wasn't a bad experience.

I get a tuition waiver, and then about 4k a semester in grants. I don't know what you want me to put in the poll for that.
