There was an air show in Fargo, ND today. It was pretty enjoyable, even if some of the performances got boring after a while...in particular, a local guy in his self-made stunt prop plane got way too much showtime. There was a pretty interesting representation of aeronautics history...some historical highlights were the demonstrations of the B-25 bomber, the F8F Bearcat, and others. But of course, the real highlights of the show were the F16 Fighting Falcon, F/A-18 Super Hornet, and the special F/A-18 Hornet demonstration group The Blue Angels, which is of course the main reason anybody showed up.
Got a little sunburnt, watched some planes and fighter jets do some cool shit, and had a generally good time.
Ever been to an airshow, especially one with a group like The Blue Angels or Thunderbirds? hocuspocus;
nope hocuspocus;
Nope, but I did attempt to build a model of a bike angels plane before. I failed hocuspocus;
i went to a hot air balloon launch once hocuspocus;
I don't think I've ever seen an air show

Yes I saw The Blue Angels at an air show with my dad when I was 11.
Shit was awesome hocuspocus;
I've been to one. Honestly, I think they're pretty [glow=black,2,300]boring[/glow]. hocuspocus;

i think about 50% of it was boring, because it was reeeeeeeeeeeeeally long and had too much of the same ol' stunts by prop planes
but the historical elements and jet demonstrations were awesome hocuspocus;
nope hocuspocus;
My dad was fascinated by warbirds and other planes things when I was younger, so I went to quite a few airshows... one I remember was in Moline, IL every year, saw the Blue Angels there a few times.
Climbing around in B-25s / 52s was a lot of fun as I recall n_u
There was also a time at an airshow in South Carolina (or some such place) when I got to ride in a T-6 (WWII warbird used to train pilots I think) while the pilot did stunts, that was fucking cool.
Uncle is in the Air Force and I lived with hom for about 4 years.
So, yes, multiple times, even met some of the pilots s:
I heard the Fargo airsho is really good. Some people were talking about it today.
I think I went to one near brainerd or somewhere when I was like 5. Idk, I just really remember riding in a helicopter with my dad and being freaked the fuck out because it had both no doors and no seatbelts.
I also went to one in Pittsburgh maybe like 8 years ago.
Oh and I randomly saw one in Singapore. Like we were in our hotel and then the building shook so we went on the roof and there was a parade with tanks and shit and a bunch of fighter jets buzzing the city.
Also I've haopened to see the Blue Angles twice. On the day of the Target Field grand opening they did a show, and buzzed our school like 5 times. Also one time I was waiting on a train platform and it happened to be the day of the Gary airshow and I saw them flying over the lake.

Didn't the hotdog incident happen at/after one of these in Iowa?

I ate a poisoned hot dog and shit myself in explosively messy manner (poo liquid) the next day on a plane, while puking into a ziploc.
lol
I want a hot dog.
I always went to the Selfridge airshow. I'm pretty sad that I'll miss it this year due to college. I worked it and was right on the air strip. Also, the Blue Angels are the best. This plane is amazing
