I have never on Boyah, but on other forums where I just look for the icons on the board index to see if there are new posts, but I want to clear those icons without reading the posts once I see which posts those topics are in. Boyah doesn't have this problem because the readstates are set up differently, where viewing the board will reset the board's readstate, wheras some other forums you need to view the posts themselves to reset the board's readstate.
