the one by me is closing too. are they going out of business?
i looked at their graphic novels and all the ones that i'm interested in were sold out of the first issue ;-;
Borders isn't going out of businesses. They have to close a lot of stores though because they're strapped for cash.
Yeah the movie is really good I saw it in theaters when I was going through my crazy phase last fall and it was just like my life.

Works the same as checking out books at the library except you just do it from the website. I guess they just deactivate or delete after a couple weeks or something. I'm not sure what they do there as I haven't actually tried it out yet. But it is free.
I wonder if my library does that.
So do ebook rentals auto delete or something? Or do they deactivate? Has anyone rented one of these?
One of the local news stations had an article that said
Quote from: Library SpokeswomanTitles will expire at the end of the lending period, so there are no late fees. It’s like using a trial software
Cool. Are libraries limited to the number of copies that can be loaned out at a time? If not, people could just keep re-checking ebooks out and basically own them.
You can do that with normal books lol.

No, because other people might want to check out the book and they could place it on hold.
Part of a FAQ from my local library's site:
Can I renew the items I have checked out?
Titles cannot be renewed, but you can check them out again if they are available when the checkout period ends.
How many days do I get to keep titles I check out?
Lending periods can vary from title to title. Additionally, you can set personalized default lending period(s) on a format-by-format basis at the 'Lending Periods' page. Click here to specify your personal lending period(s).
Additionally, you can select a lending period on a title-by-title basis. In the course of checking out any title, you will have the option to select a different lending period for that specific title.
(it had 7 day or 14 day checkout options)
How many titles can I have checked out at the same time?
You can have up to 3 titles checked out at any given time.
What happens when I place a title on hold?
A title you place on hold will be reserved for you to check out once it becomes available. When the title is available for you, we will email you instructions on checking the item out. The item will be held for you for 2 days after we email you notice that the title is available.
How many items can I place on hold at the same time?
You can place up to 5 titles on hold at a time.
When a hold becomes available for check out, how long do I have to check out the title before the hold expires?
When the title is available for you, we will email you instructions on checking the item out. The item will be held for you for 2 days after we email you notice that the title is available.
And I've looked at a couple of the ebooks and there seems to be only one copy of them. Though maybe some titles have a couple copies or bigger libraries might. Who knows.
And that other article also said
QuoteThe number of libraries offering e-book service has increased almost 30 percent since 2007, according to a recent study released by the American Library Association.
Maybe I will get a Kindle.
I think the movie is really fun and funny and entertaining, you should watch it dittodood;
It's weird to me when people describe a movie as fun.
