totally non-sexual..
What do you think about while laying there waiting to fall asleep?
I try and reflect on my day, and think about tomorrow. But I usually just end up going off on random tangents.
I used to listen to music, but I kinda stopped doing that for some reason.
i wonder what my life would be like if it were an anime
have i forgotten to add anything to MAL?
mikumikumikumikumiku
I always listen to music. I think about my life, my day, girls, and whatever tangents my mind goes on. I usually think a lot, it can sometimes take me 2 hours to fall asleep.
I usually wonder how things work the way they do and why.
Maybe someday I'll come to understand how life works. giggle;
I usually think about map things myface;

video games
I fall asleep a couple of minutes after I close my eyes... So I don't really think of anything. confuseddood;
my relationships with my friends/gf
my life in general
music
things i randomly did throughout the day or week
I fall asleep super quickly now. I like to say "Man what a fucking day" and go through how it progressed. Taking some time out of same shit, different day to critique that is very worth it. Also you tend to remember things best that you think of or study just before bed.
all kinds of things. different things. maybe not the same kind of things, but i fall asleep pretty quick.
love and friends and unlove and trusting and untrusting and unfriend and ocean and unocean and the white lodge and the black lodge. daily occurrences, memories, hopes, dreams
I'm glad you made this post. Last night, I had some coffee at like 8:00pm while I was lifeguarding (I had another hour and a half to go and I was about to fall asleep), then I went and smoked with some friends, and then went home to sleep. I couldn't sleep for the life of me (coffee) so I analyzed my life for a good hour or so, which is something I don't do nearly enough.
My findings: I need to act more myself and do a better job creating my own opinions.
EDIT: I also decided that i want to be a science major even though I've never liked science classes giggle;
When I lie in bed and close my eyes my imagination really goes crazy. I start seeing vivid things and usually it creates these crazy stories to go along with the "hallucinations".

yeah, I daydream/imagine things. I'm surprised so many people think about what happened during their day, etc. I would get so bored if I thought about real life that much. maybe it's my really strong N
Real life really fucking sucks and thinking about it is what makes it bad.
yeah, real life sucks because it's bound by the boring rules of reality...the things inside my mind aren't

These two statements seem to contradict each other. Why did you decide to be a science major if
you don't like science classes? Shouldn't you be pursuing your own interests? confuseddood;
I'm with hippo... I do my thinking before I lay down. Sometimes I will pace back and forth in my room for hours reciting my thoughts, but when when I hit the bed I just close my eyes and sleep
I analyze other people.

wake induced lucid dreaming
DILD or dream induced lucid dreaming is easier
Isn't WILD when you just think of people you love and you lay down with your arms on your side? I do that sometimes and I can feel it, but I never actually tried lucid dreaming from it.

Kind of. I try to imagine where I want my dream to start but I just fall asleep normally or can't stay still long enough. saddood;
Try TMing a few times to build up focus.

its best to set you alarm for the middle of the night so when you try you're in the middle of your REM cycle

By that I meant that now that I have the right mindset, they will be enjoyable. Back when I took science classes in high school, I always expected it to be boring because everybody said it was, and it would end up being boring because I went into it with that mindset. I think I'll enjoy them a lot more now.
I've WILD'ed once. It was amazing.
I was laying in bed then all of a sudden my second spiritual body rose out of my physical body, and I floated around the room, then out my window. Then I woke up suddenly.
and then we got ice cream
In Soviet Russia, ice cream gets YOU!
Orange sherbet?
when I was awake for over 100 hours I did saw strange things >.<
but, usually, before I sleep I look in my window to the sky I think about what is in the sky doodhuh;
