It's ok. It's a tool I have to use sometimes for science.

Yes, I like it. I'll probably minor in math for college. 5thgrade;
And I sometimes even do math stuff on my free time; I've learned up to Calc 3 before finishing high school and will probably learn more during the summer.

You should take trig eventually, especially if you're going to college.

Math is ok but I like writing better

Math in your free time?
Why?

Problem solving can be fun... People enjoy crosswords and sudoku; math's just a form of that sort of stuff really

Holy fuck I hate math. I have to relearn a bunch of algebra and trig shit for a basic skills test I have to take in late July.

I'm a 4th year mathematics major.

Also, you are all faggots for bitching about trig and calc.  Good lord.

I'm good at it but hate it. A lot of it is long and takes for ever and when I finish I don't get the warm fuzzy feeling of achomplishment like I do other subjects. "Oh wow cool, the answer is six, great"

that doesnt count as math.  that's not the fun stuff.

try:
Graph Theory
Real Variables
Abstract Algebra
Combinatorics
among others

for fun things.

I'm apparently the only other person who likes math here giggle;
but I haven't yet learned anything beyond Calculus.

Just got done with a semester of Multivariable and Linear Algebra. I've taken dry versions of both before, but our professor put off computation with matrices and echelon forms and  the like until the last 2 weeks. We spent the time before that learning theory almost exclusively, and I'm kind of in love in a worn out let's not have sex right now linear algebra but later we will get so freaky and I'll show you just how sensitive your systems are to disturbance baby

HoT (also hey): taking Fundamentals of Analysis (abstracted explorations of continuity, differentiability, uniform continuity, integrability of functions of a single variable, sequences, series and uniform convergence), have you taken something like this? Should I be pumped?
