messenger without a doubt

I was happy with a backpack till I bought my timbuk2 messenger bag. I will never go back nor ever get a non-timbuk2 bag.

http://www.timbuk2.com/tb2/products/laptop/laptop-messenger-style/d-lux-racingstripe-laptop-messenger

I got the one in gunmetal/revlon red/black

it does everything

Backpack, because they hold more and are about fifty times more comfortable.
Messenger bags can be nice, though.

A backpack, I don't want to look like a faggot, and I am constantly worried about being mistaken as a faggot. Gotta keep up my image.

This.

A bottle of lysterine broke in my backpack a couple of years ago, so I was essentially forced to use a messenger bag until I bought a new backpack.  My shoulders and back would ache if I had to walk for long distances with it.  I would never use that thing if I had a choice.

My messenger bag has a really good strap so I don't even have any discomfort. In fact I always had my shoulders hurt more from a traditional backpack

Yeah, my messenger back is HUGE, and its strap usually coils up and digs into my shoulder.  I always wondered whether a new bag would ease my discomfort.  My guess is it probably would.

But I still love my backpack and wouldn't give it up for the world.  giggle;

Doesn't matter how good the strap is. It's bad for your back because it puts all of the weight on one side of your body and throws your spine off balance.

I got a messenger bag and used it for these like last two years of high school, but I'll probably switch to backpack soon. It's not as comfortable as I expected and it doesn't contain textbooks very well.

Also hair was a factor, as there's fewer complications with only one strap. Do most long-haired girls, when wearing a backpack, keep their hair under or over the bag? It seems less comfortable but easier to wear/remove in the former case and, in the latter case, the hair might mess up a bit when I put on the bag and over half the bag would be covered by my hair confuseddood;

when I had long hair I put it over my backpack, I think. It seems like it would be uncomfortable between your back & backpack

Messenger bags look cooler imo, but they break too fucking easily. So backpack.

I prefer a backpack. Things seem more secure in a backpack, I don't know why.

I am confused by the concept of messenger bags being cool... The only people I see wearing them are nerds/geeks/weeaboos/trench coat aficionados . Not that there's anything wrong with that girl;
