Title: What are all of your default software programs?

Bleh I couldn't think of a better title. But yeah. If I'm missing any categories, please let me know.

I usually have these open and used constantly:
Web Browser: Opera
IM: Pidgin
IRC: Xchat
Programming/text: gedit (and using GCC's C compiler without IDE)
Several things from a default GNOME desktop: gnome-terminal, nautilus file manager, gnome-mplayer (videos), file roller (archives), etc.

Used either in background or sparingly:
Torrents: Transmission
RSS reader: Liferea
Music: Rhythmbox
Office: LibreOffice
Email: Thunderbird
Graphics: Inkscape, mtpaint, GIMP, and Paint.NET (I switch often or use several for a single task)

I tend to have a very populated programs list because I like having alternatives, such as Firefox, Chromium, Skype, AIM, and VLC, as well as having things for obscure tasks I'm unlikely to use often such as 3D modeling (Blender), media editing (Avidemux, PiTiVi, Audacity), and network monitoring (Wireshark).
