As a T-Mobile customer does this mean that I can get an iPhone (without jailbreaking)?
Actually, our contract for T-Mobile recently expired and idk what we're doing now. I wonder what our options are.
Does this affect anybody else?
I wouldn't be surprised. Poor Sprint, now it's the third [and last place] of the large carriers.
And I think it should be pointed out that AT&T is only buying T-Mobile USA from Deutsche Telekom, not all of its wireless branch.
i just canceled my tmobile GHahahahah owned. i am the god of hte cellphones.
On the brightside, I'll finally be able to use the 3G feature on my iPhone!
On the downside, my bill will probably be raped.
too bad it won't improve 3G coverage for iphones currently out as the 3G is broadcast on different frequencies on AT&T and T-Mobile and the iPhone's internal radio only takes AT&T's frequencies
i guess i'm not switching to t-mobile when my contract is up then madood;
A FCC official has already stated that this wouldn't be a good thing.

I think it would be nice if the regulatory body puts a stop to this. :(
