YOUR TURN flower;
Almost the entire soundtrack for Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy's Kong Quest. There's also "Kids Run Through the City Corner" and Terra's theme from FFVI, most of the soundtrack for Metroid Prime 1 and 2, Spark Mandrill's stage on Mega Man X, and the final battle against Sigma in Mega Man X 4.
God of War soundtrack is pretty epic caterpie;
I like most of the Megaman X5 tracks, I LOVE Castlevania: Symphony of the Night... Mischief Makers is good too. Tail of the Sun has some god stuff, and Nanotek warrior. For the best of "next" gen, I'd go with Wii sports, sadly.
I love the soundtrack of Chrono Trigger. wub;

I'm so jealous of that guy.
That's my favorite piece of music. "together we ride" Fire Emblem
I'm particularly fond of the music in the Kirby games and Metroid games. I also dig some of the stuff in Megaman.

Oh, right, I forgot to mention...
you can get the Hunters Ambience sounds, too. I got them, they're okay.
Silent Hill 1, 2, 3, and 4. Super Metroid. Super Mario World (The orchestrated version is lols.)
Yoshi's Island and Final Fantasy VII as well.
I love the music in Chrono Trigger.
Doom
Mostly anything from Suikoden.
Super Mario Land 2.
I always liked the soundtrack for SSBM, so Brawl should be the same.
Chibi-Robo has some good alternative style music.
Skies of Arcadia also had some good music.
My favorite would have to be Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory's sountrack (by Amon Tobin). Each level has its own music, which is fitted perfectly for the overall mood of the level. Each level also seperates its song into different segments. For example, if someone gets suspicious and starts to look, it'll play the mid-speed part of the song. But if you walk up to someone and cut their throat, it'll play the fast part of the song.
