true that. i've been hooked on gay human bones
Personally I thought 2010 was kind of a bum year for new music. I know everyone was really psyched about the new Deerhunter, Ariel Pink, Yeasayer, etc. but they didn't really do much for me. Maybe I just don't listen to very much new music. The new Spoon was really cool. New Arcade Fire was kinda meh.
It was, however, a great year for metal, from what I've gathered. A bunch of really great stuff came out that I got into, like High On Fire, Tryptikon, Deftones, etc. Not that anyone here necessarily gives a shit. Metal seems to thrive when all the other kinds of music aren't doing so hot.

I can believe that if you listened to some pretty decent music this year. Mostly I like the new Spoon for the production. The songs aren't really all that great. They're one of those bands that seem kind of cool but turn out to be kinda boring when you actually listen to them.
I dunno man I thought Spoon was pretty boring when I heard their singles passively in the car. Trouble Comes Running is so boring it actually makes me angry when I hear it.
But the production!
producing is probably the most important part of music now adays. now one cares about hwo well a song is written just how well it sounds
