.
I haven't found trophies even half as appealing as achievements. I have a few trophies but I've never deliberately tried to get one. Achievements on the other hand: I have played 193 games with a gamerscore of 22739 having unlocked 1232 achievements.
I guess :(
I also play games more for achievments i.e fallout new vegas
im a huge achievement whore. Just look at my sig
I'm really not. I'll have had my PS3 for two years [Good lord that feels strange to say myface;] in March and only have two hundred and twenty nine trophies, or at least according to PlayStation.com that is. n_u
i've never cared for trophies befuddlement
trophies/achievements are fucking stupid and are for faggots who think that anyone actually cares how much time they've wasted with pointless shit

wrench;
I gave up on achievements when I broke 10k. I didn't see a point in boosting after that, I just play the game and unlock them through the course of the game naturally most of the time anyway hocuspocus;
i dont get hte poINT ofacheivemens.e
I just enjoy ones I coincidentally get, looking them up and trying to get them seems like a waste of time. I think it's cooler when you do something extraordinary and are surprised that the developers thought that was worth added attention as well.
Thyme is. :(
He gets mad when I have more trophies than him
godmannit guys i'm kidding when i say these things :(
but yeah i care a bit too much about those 5thgrade;
also, trophies you get from just playing through the game are retarded
"you obtained this from watching the first cutscene!"
fucking stupid

seriously
I wouldn't say so no. I treat trophies or achievements as a challenge, if I can do them I might aswell try to do it if I'm enjoying the game. If I don't get them oh well. But if they're more than possible I'll do it.
I like games where the achievements revolve around actually playing the game to get them all. E.G: Assassin's Creed II, you have to 100% the game to get all the achievements.
I hate games that put shitty online achievements that you're never going to get due to a) cheaters b) the game has been out forever or c) the online for said game is terrible.
A game I bought recently that I can think that has that is Brotherhood - horrible online achievements that I'm never going to attempt to get again.

HOW ELSE AM I SUPPOSE TOO EVER GET SOME. girl;
I like to use achievements as goals to get in a game, so I get them if I feel like it.
And one thing that I hate is when a game will give you like 300 easy achievements points in the beginning of the game and the last 700 are hard as hell to get.
And if anyone has ever played Forza 2 you can get to like driver level 40 and not even have 200 G which is where I got. And getting to 40 is mad hard, more time consuming than hard but still.
