I have an essay due in 42 minutes and I haven't read the text that I'm supposed to write about.
Ideas?

Section II Short Essay
In his book, A History of Architecture: Settings and Rituals, Spiro Kostof explains the relationship between medieval architecture and the ideas of two men, the Abbot Bernard of Clairvaux and the Abbot Suger of St.-Denis. (pages 323-333). Write a short essay discussing the nature of these ideas and their relationship to medieval architecture. Refer to specific pages of Kostof, and to specific buildings to support your essay.
that seems very hard to bullshit young man
write about something completely irrelevant, give it to the professor, than after class, write the real essay, and then go to your professor's office and say that you accidentally gave them your essay for a different class, and that you have the real one ready to go, and then give it to them
or are they not the reasonable, forgiving type?
Eh, Dawn told me what the reading was about, and I wrote a page and a half of total bullshit. I'll probably get a C or D on it, but whatever.

When I'm in a crunch like that, I opt to not write the essay... It's stressful to you, and the teacher will most likely have to read low quality stuff...
I've had better experiences turning it in late than cramming. Besides, teachers usually don't care if it's a day late.

It's at least a drop of a letter grade here if not 50% off per day
It's 10% off per working day at my school. 5thgrade;
I know that 80% of the teachers at my local college don't accept late papers. If it's not in on time, it's a 0. 5thgrade;
it's whatever the individual professor decides, at my school
