Title: SOLVED: Installing Windows 7
Post by: Hiro on November 07, 2010, 07:47:37 PM
So my sister's computer got completely fucked, so we decided to just wipe the fucker and install Windows 7 on it (she was previously running Vista)
So I took her hard drive out, plugged it into my desktop so we could format it, and then did so. Then I put the hard drive back in, and set the bios to load from the DVD drive. I then put the Windows 7 install disk in, and when I start up the computer, all I get is a black screen with that little blinking white thing in the top right corner. It just sits there and blinks, and nothing happens.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

By the way you might want to try deleting windows32 or whatever it's called since that is only used for installation :|
