tons of people have told me to watch it, so i am. im on episode 4. it's an ok show, but i dont see what the big deal is. i also dont see why they make such a big deal about the homosexual characters. omar is subtle enough, he's just a guy who happens to be gay. that one female cop though is a lesbian for more or less no reason other than to have some sort of interesting personality. she's be entirely boring otherwise.
so yeah decent show. it doesn't seem like the kind of thing where it "gets better", but i'll probably watch the whole thing anyway.

the way they handled greggs was silly and theatrical for the most part. so i almost lost faith in the series. but...they killed wallace :'(
