Campaign so far is okay, but I don't know what the fuck is going on because I don't get Halo lore. I like the multiplayer, and I'm down for a game sometime if yalls wanna play.
I'm still undecided about buying this game.
beat campaign on heroic, it was okay
multiplayer is way better than halo 3 but idk still not really my thing
I really want it now even though I'm really tired of halo.
But I guess it's going to be better than another fucking call of duty.

honestly i wouldnt buy it
i've played enough halo 3 in my life to know that i won't enjoy halo as much as i used to anymore, even with perks and updated forge and all the awesome stuff.
I played the beta and wasn't a fan. I'm sure the game is a lot different but meh. I wish Halo 2 was still playable on live...
I hate every Halo game but this one. Fucking busted a nut on SWAT today, my team blew, but we managed to win 50-49. That last point, WHICH I GOT BY THE WAY, was so fucking nerve wracking because I didn't want to be the asshole to lose the match, but I beat down the other fucker and won the game.
Cmongler did you go the midnight launch?

Nope, bought it on Amazon with release day shipping so I could get the $20 gaming credit
Played the multiplayer at a friend's apartment and it was ok... It was frustrating because of all the random game modes and also because I am no longer unstoppable madood;
But it was pretty fun, I'd still say CoD:MW2 is the best fps online though

HEY FAG I KILLED YOU
I love it akudood;
So my little brother got Reach and is letting me play it on his Xbox. Seems like a typical Halo game, and I love that. happydood;
is the campaign really six hours? If so I'm fucking pissed. This is supposed to be an improvement from ODST.

I feel like every Halo game campaign is about that long.
I heard people beat it in 3.5 hours
I don't know but ODST made a huge deal about it.

Uh if you're on the easiest difficulty probably.

I'm still baffled as why he would want Halo reach to be 12+ hours, Its not like its an RPG n_u Most people dont play the campaign anyway
I beat the campaign, made no sense to me. I found the story boring, combat was fun though. The characters had zero personality, and the game tries really hard to make you connect to them but it's so dificult when nothing interesting is going on.
Kat's death
seemed so insignificant. and the big outer space scene that was hyped so much, is short but it goes on a little TOO long IMO. And it's not that fun. It did make me wish for an HD Star Fox game though, if that counts for something.
As for the game's finale, it did that cop-out Gears 2 ending bullshit
hold the trigger to shoot 1 laser and kill the "boss"
lame.
The only awesome thing in the campaign was after the credits rolled. That was some awesome shit every game should do if it wants to be as depressing as Reach.
I guess I found the story so boring because I never played any other halo story, but I can assume, that those deep in halo lore would have loved it, so that I understand, but the game was being advertised as something even newbies could enjoy, for the story at least, and I did not see any reaching toward that "never played halo" demographic at all.
Does anyone actually read Kono's really really long posts about video games?

I don't. Especially when it's about halo.

Only other halo game that I played was Halo Wars and I fucking loved the Halo Reach campaign
