I've mentioned a few times that I had a great high school experience and each time i usually get a couple replies stating the opposite. So what made your high school experience so shitty? Or so great if that was your case.
My first two years of high school were pretty shitty. Freshman year I had only a couple of friends, and most of my classes I wasn't close with anybody. It sucked and that's when I started using the internet lol. Then sophomore year I got closer with a few people, but it still wasn't enough to make me feel confident in myself. Then I did swim that year and met a ton of people who I grew closer with around the end of that year.
Then junior year, I had friends to spare and it was awesome. Every day I went out to lunch with my group of friends and went to football games and got really involved. I met so many people and it was great. Then senior year, or last year to be more precise, all of the people who I considered acquaintances at the time, I started to consider friends. I had friends in all of my classes, and did things just about every time I was free and no longer spent my weekends at home alone. This was also the first year I got involved with girls, which was both a good and bad thing, mostly good. It led to some overwhelming depressions that i had no idea how to deal with, but it also led to me having a lot more confidence with girls and having more game overall.
Then, at graduation, when you went up to get your diploma, people would cheer for you. I was really nervous that nobody would cheer for me because my family was there and i didn't want them to thing i was a loser. I went up and heard a good amount of cheers, but it was hard to judge from up there. Later, my friend Greg who is two years younger than me was in the school band that was playing told me that I had more cheers than most of the football players and he had no idea that I was so popular (which I don't really think I am anyways). Not trying to suck my own dick but it was a fucking awesome feeling to know that after having pretty much no friends when highschool started, I had a ton and was almost universally liked.
That was way longer than I wanted it to be.
TL;DR Highschool was shitty at first but it got better because I made an effort to make new friends, and because of that it turned into an extremely enjoyable experience.
I loved it.
I made some wonderful friends and had some really great experiences. I got involved quite a bit in my last two years in a lot of stuff which ended up bolstering some interests I never new I had.
Overall I guess it was somewhat enjoyable
high school was pretty inane. i would never go through high school again.
I kind of wish I could do it again. The first two years were pretty bad, my junior year was practically the year in which i introduced myself to everybody. Being a Senior now, I wonder how awesome it would be if instead I were just a Sophomore and I still had 2 years ahead of me.
I did, it was easy, and by the end of my time at high school I was pretty awesome.
Why wouldnt you?
You say you loved high school because of your friends. Okay, you loved your high school years and you loved your friends. You still haven't said anything about high school.
I had plenty of great friends in high school too. I still keep in contact with and hang out with them when I can. Doesn't change the fact that high school sucked.

I didn't have many friends, none of them close, and high school was still good baddood;

Well I did mention that I got involved and that I had friends in my classes, but going to the football games and all that was a blast. Especially since we were second in state our senior year. It was such a blast.
Most of high school as far as classes went I spent being compared to my sister. akudood;
The rest was the typical drama, drama, drama of teen life.
i enjoyed it because i didn't have to talk to people
It had its ups and downs, mostly downs. But the high parts did make it somewhat enjoyable. 5thgrade;
First two years were fucking shit and completely miserable.
Last two years I found to be quite enjoyable.
High school was miserable, I only value it for connecting me to my best friends who I would do just about anything for
Point being, no baddood;
i had cool teachers, i did well in my classes, and i had some good times with friends
it wasn't great, but it was enjoyable enough on the good days
I only enjoyed the last two years somewhat.
academics = suck ass / depressing
tech(vocational) = kick ass
it was bipolar for me

This.
Freshman I dreaded going to school. My classes were horrible, the teachers were horrible, I just hated school. There was not a single class freshman year that I looked forward to throughout the day. Combined with a few other things, it was one of the worst years of my short life.
Sohpomore year was better, I had better teachers but the classes were equally shitty. Made a lot of new friends and expanded my social group, did better in school, and hated it a little bit less.
Only 3 weeks into junior year now, but it's the best of all three so far. Doesn't say a whole ton, but at least I look forward to a few classes this year and have teachers I like.
Overall high school so far has been like a 4/10.
1st two years of high school always suck ass
by the time yu get to senior people are pretty chill besides the douche bags stuck in a middle school mentality
I probably could have if I wasn't a socially inept fat slob without any friends or hobbies aside from video gaming during my entire high school career. n_n
High school was just boring for me. With the exception of the 2007 era, those were some good times.
Hell, I loved high school
Everything just happens, but why? I think I'm going to bike down to a pier and stare at the lake for a bit.
i am in high school, and it is usually miserable except for one class each year. It will only get worse.
I despise high school and I'm glad to be finished. Why? I was actually in special education because I went apeshit on some elementary teachers who, I am not exagerrating in the least, hung 3 inches from your head if you were too quiet and asked repeatedly what was wrong. I socked a teacher and got moved to special high school straight out of elementary and sat there with the same goddamned treatment for six years.
Then, I was able to go fuck it, I don't need your shit. I went to a normal high school and it was awesome. Everyone hated me but I was ecstatic because I felt normal. Even then, I still had massive depression because I'm a good deal older than everyone else and only then completing grade 12.
Also, everyone has AIDS. I wouldn't dare ask a single person out on a date there.
not really
Aside from the teachers hated most of it. The only year I liked more than usual was 12th because I met strange people. :'(

Sounds like you were just a dick to everyone for no reason. saddood;
Except if someone got in my face and repeatedly asked a question I would feel uncomfortable too. giggle;
