Title: The Rural Alberta Advantage.
Post by: spaceman on August 28, 2010, 09:05:39 PM
I think you should all should listen to them if you have yet to do so.

Hometowns is a pretty sweet album.

They're a bit hard to label and I hate the all encompassing blanket term "indie" but they fit with like, indie folk/indie pop sort of.

last.fm says similar artists are The Antlers, Harlem Shakes, Cymbals Eat Guitars, The Tallest Man on Earth, and all of them other wonderful bands. I mean they have over a million plays on last.fm so they're not exactly unknown but I'm just saying you should check them out.

Talk about them if you listen to them, idk.  akudood;

the local indie station plays them a lot, I don't really like. harlem shakes and the antlers are good comparisons (which I also don't like).
