Oriol - Spiral
[mp3]http://daedelus.info/h/audio/oriol_spiral.mp3[/mp3]
Loungy, tropical downtempo with nice big synths. Just an okay album but I keep coming back to it recently.

The Only Ones - Another Girl, Another Planet
[mp3]http://daedelus.info/h/audio/theonlyones_anothergirlanotherplanet.mp3[/mp3]
Just one of the greatest rock songs, I remembered it again recently.

Sun Araw - Deep Cover
[mp3]http://daedelus.info/h/audio/sunaraw_deepcover.mp3[/mp3]
Drawn-out psychedelic drone, it goes where it goes with great effect. I love everything about this album.
"Spanning Spacemen 3 garage cosmos, Starving Weirdos coastal séance, and a healthy stratosphere of pan-dimensional astral feedbackers, Sun Araw floats freely from form to formlessness in the blink of a third eye. A great journey into white light dirge and dead distortion blues."

Nomo - Rings
[mp3]http://daedelus.info/h/audio/nomo_rings.mp3[/mp3]
A bit of afrobeat/jazz-funk, a genre I need to explore more deeply. Nomo falls very nicely right in that spot amidst Basie big band licks, Fela Kuti afro-inspiration and even Los Lobos on their better recordings. If you have an instrument, grab it and play along
And remember, Boyah award polls are open 'til the end of the month ;)

Com Truise - Pyragony
[mp3]http://daedelus.info/h/audio/comtruise_pyragony.mp3[/mp3]
Brilliance. Why didn't I make this?
I really like this. Anything else like it? The closest thing I have is two of "washed out's"' albums.

It's really only the vocals that give a similar vibe. Disregard that.
Snorkel, I always love your music sharing threads. <3
First track started a bit odd, but once it got into it's groove it was very slick. Love the album art.
The second track was a nice old-school rock tune. Fun and catchy.
Third track, excellent 80's vibe going on. Not a whole lot going on, but very cool.
Fourth track wouldn't load >.<
On the fifth track, the trumpet came in and I was like "aww hell yes this is gonna be good!" and was then disappointed to realize that it didn't build any further from there, or do anything beyond that really. However once I accepted the track for what it was, it's actually a fairly decent track for background music. Just a bit too repetitive.
Who the fuck did I vote for for best music taste anyways?
