wait red and green aren't complimentary? this sounds wrong to me

also just because it doesn't have a unique wavelength doesn't mean it isn't a color. if the brain makes all of the colors up based on wavelengths, what difference does it matter if it uses two wavelengths?  akudood;

also i remember staring at a pink piece of paper in my art class and everything was green when i looked up

Only on a color wheel. This only really works for aesthetics. In terms of a light spectrum, this article is right.
