Title: what the fuck is it with terpenoids (isoprenoids, etc)

I converted Pyruvate and glyceraldehide 3-phosphate by DOXP synthase, to 1-deoxy-D-xylulose 5-phosphate, and by DOXP reductase to 2-C-methyl-D-erythritol 4-phosphate.

Salvia's main psychoactive is a diterpenoid called salvinorin A.
