Title: parts of your city you've never been in
Post by: snorkel on May 30, 2010, 05:48:40 PM
Isn't it weird finding a new areas of the city you live in that you've never been to before? How much of your city/suburbs do you think you've never seen?

Besides the far, far away suburbs no one goes to,  my travels have never brought me here:

I think it's mainly niggerland

Well my current city has about three streets so I've been through all of it if you're going by the postal city. I've been through most of York as well, and seen just about everything that's worth seeing and a lot of what's not

Absolutely. I've lived in Philadelphia for several years now, but only during the past year or two could I really freely travel through it on my own. I find that I have very little interest and reason to visit the commercial and industrial areas of the city, along with some bad urban neighborhoods. One the plus side, given my spiritual disposition, I know almost all the public venues that feature natural sights and exposition. Though I still find myself discovering new things all the time, from names of streets I never paid attention to, establishments that were overlooked, and even this huge ass water reservoir only a few miles from my casa. It is interesting on the senses, especially under the influence, since it tends to morph into a fascinating adventure.

I been to 99% of my city. And 75% of the whole county. My grandparents used to take us on Sundays and visit different cemeteries. Just to find people with the same last name.  doodhuh;

Rae, that sounds both romantic, and kind of tragic.
Red is no, blue is yes, clear is not important

Although I've covered a decent deal of that main peninsula, the real hearts of Boston I have missed.

There aren't any areas that I've never ventured into but there are several that I avoid unless necessary due to it just being plain unsafe.

In my suburb, I'm sure I've been through just about every part of it, and it's a pretty large suburb, too.

Dallas, on the other hand, I have not. Family's too boring to ever want to visit downtown Dallas (except for a few times), mom's too much of a bitch to let me go there myself, and there's not much to do in Dallas anyways.

Mine is about 15000, but same... I've at least been to every community/neighborhood/sector of town. Took probably a month too lol.
