Option 2: IE

Dilemma here. I used to like firefox and recently it's been giving me problems. IE never has any problems. Buttt you guys are all "la la la i love the internet i know whats goin on blahhh" sooo tell me which one I should use.
Nobody should ever have to use IE. Not that I'm saying Firefox is king of browsers, use whatever, but IE sucks.
Yeah I don't get what the deal is actually.
I had no problems whatsoever with IE. But yeah I've had quite a bit of crashing with firefox. The only reason I made the change was because all of you kept bitching
use chrome
if you want i can make a list of reasons why IE should never be used.
let me guess: aubrey voted for ie bassir;

i dont see why people use firefox over chrome
because it works better for me
Use Chrome, IE sucks at knowing what the fuck HTML is and FireFox invents its own color profiles (at least on OS X)
Chrome would be faster than both too

Plug-ins
Themes
Adaptations
Able to create your own plug-ins
Remove shitty interfaces that aren't needed.
etc
etc
etc
Also IE is a horrible piece of shit and should never be used by anyone. The only time I ever use it is when I'm playing a Steam game and have to check something online (using the SteamPowered Browser which uses IE.) I'd un-install IE entirely from my computer but Steam probably wouldn't work then. Fucking Steam, how does it work?!
I don't use Chrome because FireFox has plug-ins that I need to use which Chrome doesn't because no one is interested in writing plug-ins for Chrome as they're already available on firefox ;~;.
No one should ever use IE.
Yeah use Chrome. Only reason I use Firefox is for the plug-ins.

Especially now that they have extensions and solid themes, I don't see the need to go with FireFox.

Same with me, but ever since I got my laptop, Firefox has never crashed. It's exited me for updates, but that's different.
firefox sucks less

I find the speed difference between Firefox and Chrome to be negligible at best.

Same here. I guess it's noticable on slower machines, I'm not sure.
Anywho, what can Chrome do that Firefox can't?
By the way is the source code for Chrome freely available? I think it is.. amirite?

On netbook it is very noticeable.
I'll take your word for it.
So is speed the only real reason to choose Chrome over Firefox?

Well that, and the fact that it feels so damn smooth. The tab animations and everything, It is just so slick.
I'm going to install Chrome because of you guys.

Good. Ever since using the Linux version, I've had it crash a few times (whereas the windows version hasn't crashed on me since the first beta over a year ago), but it is still really smooth and I definitely prefer it over firefox on my netbook.
I don't see how Chrome/Chromium is better than Firefox. I hate this :(

it's so much fucking smoother, it's faster, and it takes up so much less of your screen. how could you hate it
Firefox doesn't take up that much space. Try hiding your Bookmarks toolbar, you probably never use it anyways.
