They're making a new X-Com game. Its by the Bioshock team. Its a first-person shooter.

I don't know how I feel about this. Thoughts?

should i play the original x-com?
i'm not a huge fan of strategy games if that helps

Eh I still find it fun, but its kind of dated. And because of the latter you probably won't enjoy it.

If I remember correctly X-Com was the only game to beat out Civilization in IGN's countdown... so I am intrigued

They made a TPS X-Com many years back and it was kind of awful. So I'm skeptical.

The new one is being made by 2K games though so it should turn out pretty good.
