My main concern would be the heat it'd generate, but supposedly they don't consume much power so I guess it wouldn't be too bad.

Just like the i7 it's 45 nm, so at most it will consume as much as the i7 which is like 125 watts. And when not used, uses as little as 25 watts. When compared to older processors, like Pentium 4's which were 90 nm it uses much less power and is not really a concern at all.
