it's just not serious to the point ot be in srs diskussion.

i think, save for people with thyroid issues and the like, that being fat is a choice yes i do

It's a choice. Seriously, unless you have a medical condition that disallows you to work out/lose weight or whatever, then you have no reason to bitch about being fat. And I know everyone hates fat girls who wear shirts like "cutie" or some shit.

it's environmental
it's not a choice if they're young and taught to eat shit.
neither is becoming addicted to eating food to feel better (probably the only coping method they know)
neither is having fast foods that taste very good while they're cheap (packs a punch, something that tastes good and fills you up) and resorting to eating that since you can't afford anything else.

though it is a choice to change those maladaptive ways, just like with any type of disorder--not so much if it's genetically programmed in your genes to become fat though.

it's like saying it's a choice to let kids bully you pushing you to anxiety because you didn't have the balls to defend yourself. (though that can be partially genetic due to excessive hormones in the fight-or-flight response.)

genetic fatties store fat very quickly and don't have enzymes to decompose it/insulin resistance/can't feel 'full'/poor metabolism/hypothyroidism/etc,

people that are fat on a scooter just give up in life like the diabetics that eat a lot of junk food--ie mental mindset of "i'm going to die anyways so i'm going to make the most of it in food"

they're basically depressed in the inside, nihilistic outlook in life, they feel shitty due to low energy, blah blah blah

oh that's just begging for more discussions related to bs disorders

that depends on a variety of factors, but if they're aren't as bad as obese people then they have a higher chance of making choices of not being a fatso.

once you become obese it'll take a tremendous amount of effort to loose all that weight and by that stage they lost most of their motivation to become healthy (as they think its a lost cause already)

It's very hard to give one answer to this. A lot of people are naturally portly. I have a good friend who is very healthy, but he looks a little fat because he's a little short and he has a wider bone structure. Meanwhile, I'm naturally slim, I eat like a pig, I rarely work out, and though I've got a bit of a beer belly, no one would consider me fat. Your environment contributes to this. A lot of people became fat because their parents let them eat as much as they wanted and didn't encourage healthy habits. For a lot of people, it's their choices that made them fat, but some people naturally look fat.

But who really gives a shit, honestly? If people wanna be fat, they can be fat. It irritates me to see fat people being ridiculed for their weight. This is AMURRIKA, we won the war, we can eat as much McDonald's as we want!

Hey, nothing lasts forever. A lot of people are whining about the end of the white man's era, but it's inevitable. Every great nation falls, and that's happening to America right now. Our future lies in the hands of the Mexicans, and they're nice people so I have positive thoughts about the future.

I think it's psychological, but also a result of your choices, thereby being a choice in a way.
For those with the genetics against them, I think that they can't help being fat when they get old, but at a young age, they should be able to at least prevent themselves from obesity, although I think it would be unlikely for them to be "thin" by today's standards.
