Online applications for jobs.
They all fucking suck and are horribly designed and usually have irrelevant questions.
I filled out the one for Best Buy and it was like 100 questions or something most of which had NOTHING to do with what you do at Best Buy.
I hate how they ask you what you think you should be paid

Are you a good leader?
Do you get along with people?
Because it's bullshit.
Maybe like 1 in 1000 people get a job from filling an online application.
You gotta be more involved my man.

At least 1/3 places have told me to apply online...

Yeah no shit. It's one of those "we'll call you" while the other hand drops your app in the trash. The majority of people working in stores and such usually know each other, and that helps A LOT with getting a job.

It's like that everywhere. I hate it.
And then depending on the browser you're using, the page may not display properly.
DON'T THESE PEOPLE TEST THESE FUCKING APPLICATIONS?
I miss good old fashioned paper apps.
I just hate it when they ask 25 pages of questions and then they don't even call you. It's a waste of time.

Story of my life. saddood;
blacks
I filled out an app. for maintenance in Toys R Us.
App took me like 20-25 mins.
I get to a part where I have to agree on the terms of this job, and one of them ended up being "18 years or older"
mthrfck
You know what I hate?
Being unliked by every girl ever. Your self esteem can only take so many blows :(
the 100 question thing
have you been known by any other name or alias?
Do you belong to any online message boards, such as 4Chan?
lol giggle;
I've gotten a few phone calls out of online applications, though. They never led anywhere, but at least I got called. It's a numbers game.
If the company has you fill out an online application, it's a good indicator you're not going to get paid much. Real talk, true story.

I've filled out two and one hired me. Just saying, it's not impossible.

Oh, you might get hired. I'm just saying it won't be a very good job.
From my personal experience, I've never been hired by a company that makes you fill out an online application before. Staples, CVS, Office Depot, etc.
I want a job, but I'm not sure if I can manage it without me losing my energy fairly quick.

walgreens is the place that hired me. I didn't take it because i also got another job offer from a place that was closer.
Online applications are gay, paper and in person is the way to go.
