Are a sign that people are fucking retarded.

It's not just that poll. IIRC about 70% of facebookers said "yes" to "Is Obama a socialist?". There was also a question asking "Which of these is the biggest threat to the American dream?" with the choices of liberalism, conservatism, corporatism, and religious extremism. 55-65% or so picked liberalism.

These aren't official polls are they. It seems like they might be some hidden application like "republican patriotism" or something which explains the inordinate lean, especially considering that Obama had more fans than McCain on the site.
They're just a bunch of stupid kids trying to hop onto whatever bandwagon they can find. When Obama was campaigning for president it was cool to support him, so that's why so many people liked him over McCain on that site. However, now the trendy thing is to call him a socialist and to say that he and the liberals are bad people so now everyone is voting like that.
I think republicans just have much more party discipline

bush was a gr8 president that couldnt talk for his life and had the worst luck (9.11, false information, bill clintons mortage plan etc)

This is the "Your Say" app, an app anyone can use. And the reason Obama has more fans than McCain is because rightards are pretty split on who they support and can't all unify behind any single person.

Pretty much this. Last year at my school, most people I talked to liked Obama. This year, most people hate them and think I'm an idiot for supporting Obama.

It has to be old people that are using it then because:
The Republican party only has an 8% favorability with the 18-29 age group. (http://www.dailykos.com/weeklypoll/2009/10/1)
Completely contradicts this. baddood;

Right now the favorability rating of the Republican party in the age group of 18-29 is at 8%. EIGHT PERCENT. With a +/- of 3. The MSM still books more Republican than* Democratic talking heads on the Sunday shows and anytime they bitch and moan they give them a medium to do it on. But next time you see one of them spouting off on some TV show or hear CNN talking about the "massive" teabagger party think about the fact that the Republican party is 8 (or possibly even just 5) points away from having a 0 percent approval rating from everyone in the country born after 1980. They are the party of fail, and they are done.
