Been tokin' for a couple of months now and my friends want me to try shrooms. They're gonna have some this weekend. Should I do it?
yes.
the two do not compare, it's deff a MUCH different experience, and one which usually turns out positive
just be in a chilled environment with plenty of fun stimulation and have nothing to do for the entire day

I guess I'm in that 0.1%
Also I am trying to find suppliers to shrooms, I can't find anyone. :(
Alright, but like... how does it feel? I'm not sure if it won't be a whole world of difference or if it'll look like Yellow Submarine.
yeah but have a good time i mean you dont want a bad trip eh
I wanna try shrooms too. Someone tell me the major differences between a shroom trip and acid trip.
yes, without doubt. there's very little danger unless you eat mushrooms which are not actually psilocybin mushrooms (just learn what they look like, it's unlikely anyway)
the experience is amazing. I'd recommend 1-2g your first time (about $15-20 worth) just to get a feel for it. rules: DO NOT DRIVE

I can't really describe it but shrooms seem more lucid to me, which doesn't accurately say what I'm thinking of, but... acid seems like the world is coming out of my head more than the feeling shrooms imbue of being amazed by everything in the world. this may or may not make any sense at all to anyone who hasn't done psychedelics

first you just feel eased and happy, and might feel slight tingling sensations. then you feel REALLY happy and start noticing how incredible everything looks. holding things and interacting with objects usually becomes somewhat foreign since the idea of objects is bizarre (happens to me at least). and it can go any number of wonderful places from there

I've done acid before. People tell me shrooms is more "laid back" and more imaginative. When I was tripping on acid everything seemed to be chaotic energy that formed systematic patterns which creates the world that I perceive. Would you say shrooms is more, emotional? Because for me, acid was very rigid and concrete despite the chaotic nature of it. I guess I just need to try it to really understand the difference.
If you're doing it just be calm and not nervous or worrisome and you'll most likely have a great time

I'd say shrooms are definitely more consistently mellow. acid seems much more volatile and dependent on emotion... I've never had a bad acid trip, but have felt I could have, while shrooms seem to provide a more reliably same experience each time (but still not THAT predictable, obviously)
i heard it was a good idea to smoke pot before

DO NOT DRIVE
My first time trying them was at a medeski martin and wood concert and it was kind of spur of the moment. Didn't really know what to expect until it hit.
Really nice, really comfortable and ridiculously vivid, but not scary vivid.
It was probably not the best environment to try them my first time, but it turned out great.
MMW is a completely instrumental band, and I could actually see the music bumping and floating around.
Everything was sharp and velvety. Kind of oversaturated and textured.
But anyways, try it with good friends in a familiar environment.
Blah.
