That's understandable though because PC's actually take knowledge to hook up while the PS3 you just plug in two cords and you're good.

Plus it's more difficult than just plugging in the PS3.
The average consumer doesn't have a clue what an SSID or WEP key is. They won't be able to do half the things.

Of course if you have an ethernet cable you don't have to know those. Not a lot of people can stand the sight of a cord going through a hallway to a router or even have a router close enough to use a cable though.
