http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Otterhound

Get a Finnish Spitz
Do some serious research first. And go to a few dogs shows.

You should probably find which are actually in your area first

You can talk to breeders about pros and cons and actually see the breed. I did research too and changed my mind when I talked to a breeder.
It's been two or three weeks since I last saw my brother's girlfriend's border collie pup, and he's a lot bigger than the last time I saw him. He's still growing, though.
Get a welsh corgi or a shiba inu. cnotedood;

QuoteThere are only an estimated 1,000 or so Otterhounds in the world and somewhere between 350 and 400 in the US. Even in the early 20th century, when otter hunting was most popular as a sport, Otterhounds were not numerous. They are now considered the most endangered dog breed in Britain since only 51 were born there in 2006. They are on the list of Vulnerable Native Breeds as identified by the UK Kennel Club, and as much as possible is being done to save the breed. [2][3] Indeed, experts now view otterhounds as more endangered than the Giant Panda.[2]
:(
We're sitting my friends' dog. She's a very smart collie, a good contrast to my dumbass black lab. But I'm not a dog person. I prefer cats.
Our last dog died of cancer. The cats are still around.

Yes, reset the votes. I want people to be able to choose 3.
I'd get either the Otterhound because it looks stupid or the Retriever because I like retrievers.
Are you sure you'll be responsible enough for one?

The kuvasz cause it has an awesome name and looks cool giggle;
I am pretty sure sheepdog need A LOT of exercise so if you do happen to get one of those you should be well aware it needs a lot of space to run and stuff.
I just noticed how long-looking the Irish Setter setter is. baddood;
But I love it's red coat ;_;
Nobody likes the Newfoundland? ;__;
Of those, Irish Setter, although border collies are the best

Probably because it's one of the better looking ones. That, or the Laïka.

I think I like the Laika better, but the spitz does seem like a very good dog. I don't know though, i think maybe i prefer floppy ears.

All those dogs are high energy dogs. Good luck with that. n_u
