So I've been spending the past 2 days going through all my new music, organizing it and making sure it has proper information/good album art. I was browsing on Opera, looking for good album art. I clicked on one, and it appeared all screwed up (like hardly the same image). I refreshed, and it loaded properly. Then, Opera starts to get really sluggish (not unusual), and then the scroll bar turns black. Next thing I know, the Zune software just disappears randomly. Then my background image on Opera's speed dial has been replaced with the screwed up version of that album art. I start up the task manager to see what's going on, and I get an error message saying something like "task manager cannot be found, click to terminate program blah blah". So I to a hard shutdown, and restart. Everything seems normal again, other than my wallpaper has been replaced with an album art I used. (though that may be my fault, I could have clicked "set as background" when I copied it. However, my wallpaper was normal before I shut off the computer, so idk) Kinda wierd, but whatever.
So I open up the Zune program again, to finish my job. It shows up, but there is nothing in my collection. Immediately, it starts to re-add all of my media back onto the software, as if all of it was entirely new. So now it's doing that, but it's giving it all the information that came with the files, so a lot of it's screwed up and wrong again. not only that, but it's also re-adding all the artists that I don't want on my software (my sister's/mom's music).
God damn, what the hell happened?
Update: So the Zune has mostly finished re-adding the files. Oddly enough, it loaded most of them back in about the same order, so that's good. Also, the majority of the files do have the correct information. I hope I don't have to dig through all this shit again. baddood;

So essentially, all the work you did was undone? That's rough, Hiro, I'm sorry. Sounds like a pretty serious crash, but not like a virus. Run a few system sweeps to be sure.
I see a common theme there.

BING (http://bing.com) baddood;
Why link to Bing, anyway?
Um that has nothing to do with the Zune, it was just my computer being retarded. doodthing;
Anyways, I think (hope) I got everything fixed now. :3
Now it doesn't recognize my Zune, but that shouldn't be a huge hassle.
My cousin had the same problem.
I think it's the Zune. doodhuh;

Well the first half of my story had nothing to do with the Zune software, so I don't think so. Plus, I've never had any problems of this sort with it.
This is why I hate music programs.
itt everyone but hiro realizes it's the zune and its software causing the problem
