Post by: Daddy on August 19, 2009, 09:33:34 PM
I used it about 2 years ago while it was still in beta and it absolutely SUCKED.

I downloaded it again and it tried to import my library. It crashed and keeps locking up now. baddood;

I am not impressed by this. baddood;

I want to see it a year down the line when it has video playback and all the other things but right now it's just as bad as iTunes.

I just use my Zune to listen to music and The Zune software to put the music on my Zune.

It looks interesting, I might try it... are there serious disadvantages besides crashing?

It only crashes a lot if you have a huge library and though it says it is out of beta you wouldn't be able to tell with all the missing key features.

I'm sure it will kick ass a year or two down the road.

It sucked 2 years ago when I tried it.  I really doubt another 2 years will fix that. baddood;

photoshop CS4 and I have managed to be friends

I'm not expecting it to be better than itunes, especially because it doesn't appear to have smart playlists (not to mention iphone support)

Also, how is iTunes bad?

Slow player with awful ability to handle changes in the monitored filesystem, especially the movement of folders, is slow.
