I had to take an excused block in order for me to have enough time to study for my Calculus III course.
Comp Systems is my BS elective requirement. Do you think I'll be swamped second semester with my high school schedule and ART HISTORY 101/ECON 101/PHIL 101/ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS at the local university?

Why not AP US History?
Oh my gosh Laura your block scheduling is dumb and confusing and I would kill myself if I had the same class every day for an hour and a half. We had A days and B days. 4 classes each day and one class every B day was study hall. You had two days to finish your homework for each class plus an hour and a half every other day to work on it. Also I had a Mr. Kramer for Chem too.
Anyway:
Monday and Wednesday
8:30-11:20 Typography 2
3:30-6:20 Production Processes
Tuesday
3:30-6:20 Graphic Studio 2
Thursday
12:30-3:20 Mythology
3:30-6:20 Graphic Studio 2
Friday
12:30-3:20 Psychology

Yeah, it gets kind of annoying being stuck there for an hour and a half. But, apparently, they're changing it so it's only like an hour and ten minutes. They're giving us a study hall between first and second mods.
lol, Mr. Cramer is just about the coolest teacher ever. I had him for Chem I, too.
In addition, I'm taking Calculus III from 7:10 - 9:20 PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
My professor won't be back until next week, so I won't be able to buy the required texts in time. ;_;

Well like I said we had that length classes too, but we'd only have the same four classes every other day.

I did. Apparently I could have gotten credit for it, but since its been over a year and I have forgotten some of it I thought it would be best to just take the course again. I dont want to start calculus II and struggle because I've forgotten the material since junior year.

My school is only 25 minutes longer than yours.
And yeah, it's awesome. On the first friday of school, I'm going to a Crosby, Stills & Nash concert in Houston. I'm from Dallas, and if I got out of school at 4PM like most people, there's no way I'd make it to Houston on time. But now I can just leave at 2:20 and head straight down there with an hour to spare.

except for that your school is more than 25 minutes longer than mine, you just have an early release schedule. Which is why I said that your school goes on for a long time.
I get to miss the 3rd day of school for PAX :)

We don't get our schedules until the first day. So basically, the first day is us sitting around in the cafeteria for half the day until the teachers can actually leave the gym. hocuspocus;
Also, my school schedule last semester lasted from 7:20-2:00. And on Mondays it was 8:00-1:30 or something. I have no idea why they decided to go with such an odd schedule, and for alls I know they might change it again in September.
I won't know mine until the beginning of September. :'(

...sort of? >_> I mean, I know derivative of x^2 is 2x and all the easy stuff. I understand how the graphs change. I dont remember a lot of the trig stuff. I vaguely remember volumes...
Idk man, I just thought it would be best to retake it. I barely passed the class with a 69.5 my junior year and I got a 3 on the AP test. I want a good background if I am gonna be an engineer. baddood;

An Intro to Mechanical Engineering opened up so I am going to take that class too. To help me decide which field to pursue.
I didnt take a lunch this year so I get out at 1:35 in the first half of the year spam;
I just got mine today. Unfortunately the mother fuckers decided to be sly and cut off the part with what teacher you get on it, so I'm still basically clueless as to which class will suck and which ones won't suck.
