I voted no even though I am not entirely sure what you are referring too.
Bah
Let's say you knew about a musician a few months before your friends found out. Would you feel more entitled to be his fan than them?

what the hell, what are you 13?
spam;
No. doodthing;
Of course I do.
NO
In fact I hate when people say "I liked that band BEFORE they became popular. awdood;"
Actually I like when my friends do that because then we have more common interests, and therefore more to talk about. (:

And such
Mostly over food.
CAUTION TO YOU BOYAGERS:
I always see the fucking sandwich first madood;
No. I don't like it when people use this excuse.
No, but my older sister would sure as hell say yes. I would actually be happy if people discovered awesome bands

No, you're 13, bitch.
But I was born October 27th 1994 madood;
Not anymore.
yes with music and i get mad when i show someone something and then the next thing I know a whole group of people are listening to them, probly because my friend is super cocky and it makes me not want to show him my best finds.
its like a game who can play the best music.
and another thing about music blowing up, is it sucks to hear music you like being played by people you dont like
I do agree very much on that last statement
I don't understand why it sucks doodhuh; its not like just their listening to it should make you like it any less. If so you might be listening to music for the wrong reasons.
I agree, but that the same time, it's annoying when you see total retards listening to one of your favorite songs, usually just because it's hip or something
yes yes yes yes yes yes YES.
especially with anime. (well actually it's only with anime because I'm certainly never 'ahead of the game' in anything else) There's nothing I hate more than liking an anime to death and getting ready to cosplay a character then it suddenly catches on and everyone's seen it and everyone's cosplaying from it. :|
At the same time, when I like an anime I tend to promote it to all my friends asmuch as possible, so I'm partially to blame. :(
Oh, and to be fair, cosplaying can be really competitive in that if you're not the first person you're almost surely to be blamed for copying those before you. And if a good friend is doing a cosplay of a certain character, it's IMPOSSIBLE to do the same cosplay. That'd be like stealing their ideas. So I feel like if I liked a character first I'm more entitled to cosplay the character even if I'm a little slower to buying materials to actually start the thing. :(

I used to be like that.
When I was a weab, that is.
You guys are weirdos. I'd be glad if someone found out about something I liked because then we could talk about how awesome it is and which songs we like the best or something.

I agree.
If I discovered some great scientific thingie then yeah I would feel a little more entitled to it.
I really don't mind as long as people respect the work I had "found" first.
Like my friend and I started to play Magic the Gathering at about the same time, I played a little with my older brother but they quickly dropped it after playing for a good four months. Then later I brought it to my own group of friends.
I guess I'm just particular about those things. I love when my girlfriend plays the video games I love but not some of my friends. I recently got her into Phoenix Wright but she doesn't play it as much as other games. She loves Kirby Super Star Ultra and Rhythm Heaven.

black people can't be weeaboos
damn
If they're acting like they're the biggest fan ever and they only have like the greatest hits cd, then yeah, i'd feel a bit more entitled to like the band. As long as they're knowledgable, I don't really mind
