I jailbroke mine just cause some of the extra features are really nice. Like being able to swipe the status bar and being able to turn on/off bluetooth, wifi, etc.

I don't download cracked apps though just cause

I've downloaded Apps only after my friends downloaded them on his Touch... if it's gonna kill his, it's not gonna kill mine.

I don't get how jailbreaking can "kill" your iPod or your iPhone.

But yes, I did for my Touch. The added addition of Cydia and themes did it for me.

Jailbroke my iPod Touch back in 2007 when I got it, when jailbreaking was fun and useful. After the app store came...eh, the jailbreaking community kind of died.
