Few other states have license plates as simple and clean. They are not something that needs anything except the name of the state and the license, and registration stickers if the state uses them

Yeah but California's plate is boring. You can get fancy ones that have a beach on it and there's one with the Sierras I think, but you have to pay more or something. I dunno I don't drive.

I think the extra bullshit just makes it look tacky as hell. I'm with Snorkie on simplicity when it comes to this sort of thing.

Some people get used to typing that and type it because it's faster than moving your hand to the mouse and clicking the IMG tag. Especially those that have done at least some HTML/PHP site designing in their time.

Or if you used to go to NSider because the WYSIWYG editor was shit and I got used to just writing typing the whole thing out anyway.

There are over fifty different types of plates to choose from in Montana, and most of them look like this:
