I got a new lens.

I got a new lens (nikkor 35mm f1.8) and I took some pictures, which can be found at

Those are very nice. The colors, Duke! THE COLORS!  giggle;

Though most are a bit too sharp for me. PHOTOSHOP madood;

But 35 I like very much. I need one for digital, my 50 is starting to seem flat in comparison.

Haha, I didn't sharpen any of these. That just happens to really high resolution photos shrunken down. And a f1.8 lens.

I have a friend that's a photographer. All he does is take pictures of macaroni pieces and his sock monkey, though he has friends that are magazine photographers.  hocuspocus;

Yeah, I wish mine had video but I got it before hardly any DSLRs did. Next time I have money I'm upgrading to the D90

Yeah, but really any HD video camera is way better. For one thing mono sound is disappointing, and focusing manually is both tough and noisy. It's pretty cool, especially with any low aperture lens, but definitely not the best.

The D90 would still be worth upgrading to though.
