Post by: The artist formally known on July 04, 2009, 12:43:37 PM
I gave in and bought one, suggestions for apps?

I also need a very slim but sexy case for under $35 or so.

I don't have any suggestions for applications at the moment.

But:

I think they sold out, they're handmade.

Shazam is ridiculous. It recognized Footsteps Resound in an Empty Chapel by Akercocke. Thats fucking scary.

AIM, facebook, remote, bloomberg, shazam, netnewswire (if you read RSS), google earth, ebay (if you use it), and then I have some server admin tools, a thing called AirShare (I think) for using the phone as a wireless storage device, some apps for local radio stations (XM/Sirius wouldn't be a bad idea), and a bunch of games I never use

Remote and Shazam are two of my most favorite apps.

Remote is seriously one of the coolest things ever, one of the very very few reasons why I still use iTunes now.

It has to be on wifi though, which is somewhat irritating since I don't have my iphone set to automatically join wifi

I agree. If it were to get into wifi when I open Remote and log off when I close it would be amazing.
