Question:
what phone should i get
Option 1: LG Vu for $100
votes: 5
Option 2: Samsung Magnet for $50
votes: 5
I know this is the wrong board but I need people's opinions quick and this board gets more activity than the tech board. baddood;
Okay so I'm getting a new phone soon, probably today.
I initially wanted the LG Vu, but my dad says no because its $100.
He says I should settle for the Samsung Magnet for $50.
LG Vu:

Samsung Magnet:

If I decide on the Vu, that means I'll have to be paying $50 of my own money, of which I have very little.
I'd go with the Vu.
Also, this just reminded me of 'LOL I'M GETTING AN LG SHINE!!!!!' akudood; akudood;
Oh my god, there's a rebate. My dad's so retarded. akudood;
No Commitment Pricing $249.99
2-yr Contract Price $99.99
Total Due Today $99.99
Mail-in Rebate via AT&T Promotion Card - $50.00
Price After Mail-in Rebate $49.99

I can give them fifty bucks since I'll be getting a rebate check when the thing comes in, wtf. akudood; akudood; akudood;
Touch screen phones are always bullshit, get the full keyboard one.
PS rebates take like 2 months LOL

The Satio looks interesting, but then I remember that no US carries like to subsidise Sony Ericsson phones except for the bland Walkman phones.
Oh well, though I wonder why HTC keeps putting huge chins on their Android phones, other than that, the Hero looks good. Though, I'd like an iPhone. :[
lol nobody would probably call me though

SUCK IT akudood; akudood;
LG sucks horribly at everything.
So uh I have a similar question... I'm trying to get a 3G phone with web browsing since I live in the middle of nowhere and have to share the internet with my entire family. What would be the best route to go as far as phones under T-Mobile?

G1?
Well it's basically either that or wait until the Samsung i7500 comes out in the fall I guess... I just wish the G1 didn't look like such a brick, and that weird tilt kind of bugs me

What about the HTC Magic? T-Mobile USA calls it the 'MyTouch 3G' but I refuse to call it that lol. It comes out sometime this month if I recall.

I heard it runs the same program though. I don't want to pay a lot more for something that's just more aesthetically pleasing

Yeah, they're both Android phones, which is a good thing. baddood;
The Magic is just smaller, while the G1 has a keyboard. I'd go with the G1.
