I try to avoid taking Benadryl whenever possible, but today it got to a point where I was sneezing about every ten to twenty seconds. When I grudgingly swallowed the pill, I thought I knew what was in store, but this shit has a different effect each time. Today has been a continuous sequence of bizarre over-the-counter drug side-effects. The stages I've gone through so far are ravenously hungry, somewhat noxious, drowsy yet restless, and mumbly and disoriented. Just a minute ago I noticed that four hours had gone by without knowing it and I'm currently semi-hallucinating something that involves a forest, antique furniture, and A Perfect Circle.
This is just one of the many magical experiences with over-the-counter drugs I've been fortunate enough to have been through. I'd post more but I'm having a hard time staying awake.

I always fall a sleep or my body feels numb when I take Benadryl.
Awesome. I take stuff sometimes for my allergies as well, but I never have any particularly bad side-effects.
I take Alavert.
Get worms. It's the only 24 hour solution.
Also, I took two Tylenol pm's last night. I've been going to sleep very late because this was my prom weekend, and I was up drinking a lot. It fucked up my sleeping schedule. I popped them to help me go to sleep. caterpie;
I've never had Benadryl. I should get sick like that.

My brother tried that once. Someone told him that you'll get high if you take a lot of Benadryl. He took about 16 before going to school. It didn't work. Fortunately, it's really hard to overdose on Benadryl but he told me that it really sucked and I shouldn't try it.

I used to take Benadryl when I couldn't sleep, but I always ended up really groggy and tired in the morning. It only worked about half the time, anyway.

Lucky you. About half the time it would just make me freak out and still not get any sleep.
