Title: Nightlights
Post by: Daddy on May 22, 2009, 08:03:49 PM
Does/did anyone here use nightlights? baddood;

I did not because the dark does not scare a JMV.

No. I cannot sleep unless the room is completely dark. Nightlights are for pussies.

You can cover yourself with blankets like a dumb bitch like I do.

I actually sleep easier when there's light.

yes

but that's because i was convinced that my house was haunted for like, 7 years. maybe it still is, i just dont really care. im never awake long enough with the lights out to notice anything.

Oh, some days ago one of my batteries exploded and made a hissing sound. At first I didn't know what it was and was creeped out and thought that there were people outside ready to take me hostage so I slept with my lights on and investigated for an hour where the sound came from. <3

One time the power went out and I pointed my flashlight around my room for at least half an hour because I thought that maybe, just maybe people outside turned the power off so that we wouldnt be able to see them <3

better safe than sorry!

then i fell asleep

I did when I was younger, but now I won't sleep if even the tiniest of light enters the room.

My brother did so therefore I did, indirectly.

I need absolute darkness to be able to sleep and my brother is the opposite. If he's alone in the room, he leaves the lamp lit up, he doesn't like sleeping alone in the dark.
Reminder: He's 18. *facepalm*
that happens to me during the summer

i hate it because it isnt always consistent. but im usually too tired to let it effect me too much and also my fan drowns out the sound mostly

No, I need complete darkness, like everybody else said.
Since Clucky brought up her battery thing, I'm going to tell about my haunted Zune. For like 3 days in a week about a month ago, my Zune screen would randomly light up WHILE it was on hold. I put it in my closet because I get really paranoid at night :(

I don't use a nightlight, but I always open my blinds at night because it feels weird not being able to watch the light outside flickering on my wall. That's what I look at while I try to fall asleep.

I don't, if I get scared I just put my entire body under the blanket and stay there until I fall asleep.

Never have, but we have them in the hall and the bathroom to help see at night

When I had to share a room, I had no choice, but the light wasn't for me. So yes, I had a nightlight because I had no other choice. hocuspocus;

I've never used a nightlight but I did used to sleep with the light on in my room or with the tv on for the noise. I also used to sleep with the covers over my head, heavy quilts too, and my mom used to say that I would smother myself to death like that. But it never happened.
